I was out walking around last night around midnight or so when I was stopped by a cop again. Again?! Allow me to explain. Friday night we were at Kyle's Nick's house for a fire and party and shit, and I got bored/antsy, so Kyle and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. He was just talking about how Peter's Township cops are dicks, and that we'd probably be stopped at least once that night. Just after he said it a cop drove by, stopped, backed up with lights going, and stopped us. He was a little over-aggressive for 2 people going for a walk. He asked what we were doing, and we told him we were going for a walk. Where? Just around the neighborhood. Had we been drinking? No. Then he warned us that there were drunk drivers out that night, and that we would probably get hit. He took our IDs, recorded the DL Numbers, and sent us off. Luckily for me last night went much smoother.

I was going for my usual nighttime walk, and I was up in the housing plan at the bottom of my street when I was stopped. Someone called the cops last night for some problems, and I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I walked past the 3 cars at the scene of the call as they were talking to someone, and they didn't seem to mind me. As I turned down a side street I was stopped. He was very polite and kind of nice. He asked me what I was doing, and I told him I was just out for a walk. He called in my DL number, and while he was waiting for it to come back we made small talk. He wasn't douche-y or overly aggressive, and his cell rang to AC/DC's Thunderstruck. He was kind of cool. Waaayy better than the Peter's cops. heh

Also, I'll have my wings soon. The dudes who custom make sleepers, kigurumi, and hoodies have opened up commission slots. Since I was already on their waitlist I grabbed up a slot. I'm getting a winged hoodie stylized after my jay self. It'll hopefuly be done in time for AC. I've been looking forward to this hoodie for quite some time.

I'm Where?!? Home And How Does That Make You Feel? chipper tags: commission, cops, walking

How is it that when I go to sleep early so I can be rested for the next day I end up waking up within a short period of time and am unable to get back to sleep? Case in point; last night I went to bed around 2330, and I woke up around 0230. I remained awake until around 0630 when I finally fell back to sleep. I tried to go back to sleep for about an hour then I gave up and began reading my book. By 0430 I had finished what was left of my book, and I tried to go back to sleep again. Not even half an hour later I said, "Fuck it." and started the next book in the trilogy I'm reading. I finally fell asleep around 0630. I don't get it. When I go to sleep around 0200 or so I wake up feeling kinda tired. When I try to go to sleep earlier I wake up within 3 hours, and I'm unable to fall back to sleep. What the hell, man? Then again, I haven't been sleeping well lately, so that might be a factor.

In other news, My conbadge I commissioned from Aubrin at AC '08 is nearing completion. I got a sketch from him earlier this week, and with my approval (which I gave (he does great work (hooray for parenthesis!))) it'll be complete soon. With that done all that's left is my commission from UndyingSong, but she's having some family problems so I'm not going to poke her about it for a bit. I also got Spazfox's new DVD titled Monolith of Ham, and it's damn funny. It's from his AC '07 show. I arrived late, so I only say the last half of it. This new DVD makes me feel just a bit more complete. I also got another copy of his first DVD titled Ow; since my other copy of the DVD I got was all screwed up. In a cruel twist of fate this DVD has the same problems that the last one did. I'm going to poke Spaz relatively soon to see what happens. I also had quite the awesomesauce weekend with Kyle, but I don't feel like writing any more right now. I'll post about it later. I'm done rambling. For now this lil jay is off to read his book some more and try to survive until the weekend. Spring Break Mutha Fucka!
