Geek Rage!
04:12am 10/05/2009

Nebay
I could go on an angry hate-filled geek rant about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but I can sum it up in five words. Don't. Go. See. This. Movie. They ruined and fucked up soooooooooo many things I was in geek rage before the movie was finished. A movie you should see, however, is My Name is Bruce. It stars Bruce Campbell as himself. If you like Bruce Campbell see it. If you don't see it anyway. heh Tonight was quite fun. I saw the two previously mentioned movies with Addison, Joe, and Kyle; and then after everyone left I caught up with Tree, and we talked for a little over 2 hours. heh For now though this little birdy is off to his cage to dream of his roo and to dream of murdering everyone who wrote/signed off on the script for the Wolverine movie. G'night y'all. See ya eventualy.

Of Irony and Sleeplessness (also some rambling and parenthesis)
09:07pm 25/02/2009

Nebay
How is it that when I go to sleep early so I can be rested for the next day I end up waking up within a short period of time and am unable to get back to sleep? Case in point; last night I went to bed around 2330, and I woke up around 0230. I remained awake until around 0630 when I finally fell back to sleep. I tried to go back to sleep for about an hour then I gave up and began reading my book. By 0430 I had finished what was left of my book, and I tried to go back to sleep again. Not even half an hour later I said, "Fuck it." and started the next book in the trilogy I'm reading. I finally fell asleep around 0630. I don't get it. When I go to sleep around 0200 or so I wake up feeling kinda tired. When I try to go to sleep earlier I wake up within 3 hours, and I'm unable to fall back to sleep. What the hell, man? Then again, I haven't been sleeping well lately, so that might be a factor.

In other news, My conbadge I commissioned from Aubrin at AC '08 is nearing completion. I got a sketch from him earlier this week, and with my approval (which I gave (he does great work (hooray for parenthesis!))) it'll be complete soon. With that done all that's left is my commission from UndyingSong, but she's having some family problems so I'm not going to poke her about it for a bit. I also got Spazfox's new DVD titled Monolith of Ham, and it's damn funny. It's from his AC '07 show. I arrived late, so I only say the last half of it. This new DVD makes me feel just a bit more complete. I also got another copy of his first DVD titled Ow; since my other copy of the DVD I got was all screwed up. In a cruel twist of fate this DVD has the same problems that the last one did. I'm going to poke Spaz relatively soon to see what happens. I also had quite the awesomesauce weekend with Kyle, but I don't feel like writing any more right now. I'll post about it later. I'm done rambling. For now this lil jay is off to read his book some more and try to survive until the weekend. Spring Break Mutha Fucka!

The Good, The Bad, and the Hopeful
02:47am 03/02/2009

Nebay
Well folks, I'm back with all kinds of news. Let's begin with the good; shall we? The Steelers won yet another Super Bowl! For those of you who didn't watch the Super Bowl; y'all missed one hell of a game. I'm not going into detail, so lets just leave it at, "Huzzah!" Next off was my weekend. I headed down home early Friday, and I spent most of the day just relaxing and existing. It was kind of boring, but nice. Saturday, on the other hand, was quite the day. Kyle came down, and we grabbed some food at TGIFridays, and then we poked around at the mall for a bit. While at the mall I picked up the Secret Invasion TPB, and it was very epic. I wish I had a bit more knowledge on the events leading up to it, but even without it was another Marvel masterpiece. After poking around at the mall we headed back to my house to watch some movies and get all cuddly. We watched Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. After the movies we migrated and "dot dot dot." Sadly, Kyle had to go back home, so he couldn't stay. Hopefully I'll see him this weekend for the little "party" I'm throwing. As mentioned before, Sunday was Super Bowl madness.

On to the bad section of the report. The data from my chemistry lab last week got all kinds of corrupted, so I have to find time to re-do the lab. It won't be all that hard, but it's damn inconvenient. Speaking of chemistry; I may have to withdraw from the course. Because of my earlier funk I've missed quite a bit, and I fear I won't be able to bounce back from the grade hit. If I do stay in the class I'd have to bust my nuts off and hope I can pass with a C. If I get a D, even though I've passed I have to retake it. I'm going to see Dr. Edwards and see what his opinion is. I already have to retake Prin1, so why not add Prin2 to the list?

The last part is what everyone's been waiting for. Now we come to the hopeful section of today's little post. First off I send big hugs to everyone of my friends who've offered words of encouragement, support, or even just acknowledged my little problem. Y'all are one of the main reasons why I'm still in college. If you combine all of that with the e-mail I got from my PreCalc teacher and a comment a friend of mine made during a chemistry lab, you get a lot of hope and purpose. All he said to me was that he appreciated all the help I was giving him during the labs. Knowing I helped someone in lab makes me remember why I chose to go to college to become a Forensic Scientist. I want to help people. If I don't pass everything I'll let a lot of people down who care for me and that I care for, and I won't be able to help more people like my friend in lab. That's why tomorrow I'm trying to get together with my PreCalc teacher, so I can get caught up and I can return to class. He cares, and with his, Joe's, and Tay's help I know I'm going to do fine. My one regret is that I may be stranding my lab friend if I withdraw from Prin2. This is one of those cases where the needs of the many (all the people I could be helping if I graduate and don't get kicked out for failing too much) outweigh the needs of the few (my friend in lab). I'll just have to see what Dr. Edwards has to say, and hope for the best.

I feel good now. I've been sleeping better and having more fun. Just as back in November; change is coming. I can feel it. With all my friends and loved ones by my side I know I can tackle whatever comes my way. (Sorry for the cliche "friends speech". I feel like I'm in an episode of Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh. Heheh) For now this little birdy is off to read some then hit the nest. G'night y'all, and thanks for everything!

MLK Day
11:13pm 19/01/2009

So, how'd everyone spend their day off from classes? Me? I spent my day watching Doctor Who and poking around the interwebs. I did, however, accomplish some tasks. I did the dishes, and I ordered some movies online. When they arrive and when I pick up two from home I'm going to throw a musical party. We shall watch Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Mamma Mia!, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It will be at least 5^n kinds of epic (where n>1)! We also had a floor meeting today that accomplished absolutely nothing. They never do, but we can hope that one day it will be eventful.

Tomorrow is back to classes for most. I don't have any classes on Tuesdays, so I'm spending tomorrow sleeping and possibly at the mall. The new Reel Big Fish CD comes out tomorrow and I have to return the two movies I rented, so I may be travelling tomorrow. I hope the roads aren't all that bad. For now this little birdy is going to relax and get ready for bed. G'night everybody, and I'll see y'all eventually.

Greek Feces, Holy Murders with Big Teeth, and Wonderful Roos
12:47am 07/01/2009

Nebay
I had quite the day today. It began with a bunch of us all going to CiCi's for lunch. I picked up Addison, and gave him a ride to CiCi's to find not only Joe and Graham there but Constantine as well. Everyone was all, "Oh hey, Constantine!" except for me because I see the Greek quite a bit up on campus. I was just like, "Oh hey Constantine." We nommed down much pizza, and had a delightful conversation involving our various experiences with extreme amounts of shit, and actors that were over 90% fail. After a while we walked up to the Sheetz to grab some Fred, and along with that I grabbed a g33k b33r. It was quite good. We all piled into my tiny ass-car to head to the mall so Joe could look for a hip flask. After that I grabbed the Tales of Vesperia strategy guide, and we headed for Joe's. Once there we poked around for a bit then put in  Righteous Kill. Sadly, I couldn't finish the movie, but the reasoning for it was a bit more important. I had a date with Kyle at 7 at Pasta Too.

When I got there he told me to come to his car where he had a suprise for me. He gave me 3 tinted daisies. They're blue with a little bit of white in them like my Jay. It was freaking awesome. We then headed in for delicious foods and bits of conversation. The remaining time was spent in his car listening to Reel Big Fish, conversing, making out, and existing. It was a wonderful date!

After we parted ways I headed back to Joe's house to catch most of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band The Movie, Starring Peter Frampton and the BeeGees. I got in before the part with Steve Martin as Dr. Maxwell Edison (my favorite), and we watched the whole thing. After that I drove Addison and Graham home.

I know that I still have to post about NewYear's and Tay's Party, but right now I need to hit the nest. Much love to my roo, and slightly less love to everyone else who I'm on good terms with. heheh
G'night y'all, and I'll see you eventually!

Can anyone explain to me why everything on campus closes at like 5pm on Friday? If you know the answer to that then maybe you can also explain why almost nothing is open on Saturday or Sunday. I don't understand it. Most, with the exception of one, of the places to eat on campus close sometime in the vicinity of 6pm on Friday night. Friday is a logical night to stay up late due to the fact that there are no classes the next day, so why would you close up early? I'd assume it'd be better for business and the students in general if they stayed open later on weekends. Also, a few miles away there is a mall. It's a really big and really nice mall. I prefer it to most of the malls back home. They close at 9 on Friday nights. Why? Wouldn't they benefit from staying open later since everything else closes so early. If you don't understand what I'm getting at, allow me to elaborate. Friday night Tay and I were hungry, so we went hunting for someplace to eat. It was raining like mad, but we wanted to try the food place in the Student Center. It made sense since at 9 that night in the same building we were going to see Iron Man. We walked over, and it turns out that they closed at 5. We just walked quite the ways in the pouring rain to find that they're closed. Well, between our dorm and the Student Center is the main dining hall. The food there sucks, but above it is a nice little ppace where you can get wraps and shit. They have good chiccken parmesan wraps. Guess what. They closed at 230 that afternon. What the hell!? Well, it looks like we're going back to Rose for food there. It's not bad food. It's just that it's all we eat because it's only one floor below my room. Nice and convenient. We were soaked by the time we got back. It's not that far a walk, but it was raining really hard. After food we chilled on the internets then watched Iron Man. It was as awesome this time as the other times I've watched it.

Saturday after doing the usual eating, interneting, and making lazy, we decided to hit the mall. We got there around 830 that night. We hung about for quite some time in the pet store looking at the ferrets then I went to the sports store next door to look for a Toronto Blue Jays hat. I've seen a nice one before, but I haven't found it since. When they didn't have it the dude suggested that we check Hat World, but we may have to do it some other time since the mall closes at 9. It was 904. That was a disappointing trip. Just down the street from the mall is a Borders that is open until 11 on weekends, and 10 on weeknights. Hoorah! Someone that makes sense around here! We diched around in there for a while, and I picked the first Ghost in the Shell novel The Lost Memory, and...Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (the movie)! Starring Peter Frampton and the BeeGees. It was like if you combined Across the Universe with Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was so stupid, and it was soo fucking amazing! You all must watch it. We hit up Wal-Mart on the way home to get some food and a box fan then headed back. Tay, Shaylin (Tay's roommate), and I watched Sgt. Pepper, 2's DVD The Gods Hate Me, and Uncle Kage's Story Hour from 07. The party ended around 4am.

Today I have a Chemistry test to take online, laundry to do, and I plan on hanging around the MUCK for a while. Well, that's about it. This little birdy has stuff to do, so I'll see you eventually.

The bird is back!
10:52pm 01/03/2008

Nebay
I'm baaaaaaaaaack! That's right folks, this little bird is back with a new computer. The hard drive on my old box is dead, but the data is still there and retrieveable. I got a hard drive casing that turns my old hard drive into an external hard drive. Since I needed one for college, I got a laptop. It's an HP with 2 gigs of memory and 160 gig hard drive. If you combine that with my old hard drive from the old computer you get a  metric fuck-ton of storage space. I've transfered over most of my important data (bookmarks, anime, music, porn), but I lost the audio from MSG 0083: Stardust Memory. I think that happened because I was watching an episode when the old hard drive died, and that might have fucked it up. I also can't sign into AIM because I don't remember my password, and it's linked to an old, dead e-mail address. I'm guessing like mad as to what it is.

Last night I went over to Joe's house with Graham to watch some movies. We watched My Fellow Americans and Clerks. Graham and I had never seen the former, and Joe and Graham had never seen the latter. After that we slept since I had to wake up at 11:00. I woke up around 9:00 to the sound of Joe's little shit of a brother playing Snood at full volume on the other side of the room. It was fucking loud, and I wanted to stab him for waking me up. We had pancakes, bacon, and eggs for breakfast. After that I went home than off to work.

I had to work today from 2:00-close. I got in trouble because I've been all fucked up in the head lately, and totally forgot to go to work yesterday. My phone was on silent, so I never got their call saying "Where are you?" Well, because of that I'm on probation for 30 days. That essentially means that for 30 days I can't fuck up at all. I can't be late, I can't miss work, I can't take a shit at work without clearing it with a manager. That's not that bad. I managd to call off on th 17th because of theCeltic Woman concert. That was easy because the schedule hasn't been made up for that week yet. Also, I have to go to work tomorrow because of Garth. He called off, so I was asked to fill in. By the way, when I said asked, I meant pigeonholed into doing it.  I was suposed to work from 10:00-3:00, but I remembered that I don't have transportation until Noon. My availability paper says the same thing. I told Joh that, nd he pushed me up to 12:00-5:00. I was hoping he'd just say fuck it and find someone else. Oh well, at least I get more mony.

Well, I'm tired as fuck, so this little bird is gonna hit the nest. Good night y'all.

Today was pretty epic. (I say that a lot don't I?) Anywho...

I played some Metroid Prime3: Corruption today and cleared the seed off of Bryyo getting me the Hyper Ball. As I was in the middle of the boss fight, Graham called and said that we should do something. He headed over and chilled while I killed the boss then we trucked it off to the Mall at Robinson. There I traded in some games, so I'd have some money for when Halo 3 comes out. I traded in Fable, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, Dead or Alive 4, Ratchet and Clank, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and Red Steel. For all that I got $42.25. We then went to FYE and Graham got a BeeGee's CD. After that we decided to truck it to the Monroeville Mall. Due to bad directions from his mom, we ended up at Beaver Valley Mall instead. We dicked around there and ate lunch. I had both General Tso's and Bourbon Chicken with fried rice, and Graham had Bourbon Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, an eggroll, and fried rice. After lunch I stopped at the T-Mobile booth to see if I could upgrade my phone. It had been long enough, so I was eligible. I got 2 free phones, one for me and my mom. We had to renew the contract which I looked over, and seeing it was copacetic, proceeded to sign it. When I brought up the fact that the contract was in my Mom's name, I was told to just sign her name because no one looks at the signatures. I made sure everything was cool with my mom first.  After we finished with the mall we headed back to Graham's house, but not after we got on to 60 North. Thinking that maybe we would find 376 if we kept going North, we did just that. After a while we got off, paid a toll, drove not 500 feet, paid another toll, and got onto 60 South. It was kinda funny. We headed back to my house where we watched videos until Graham's Dad called saying he needed the car. We headed to Graham's Dad's in both my and his car, dropped off his car, and trucked it to Bridgeville to go see the movie Shoot 'Em Up. We got there around 1930, and since the movie didn't start until 2015, we headed to the K-Mart to look around. We hit up the toy section where Graham almost had a nerd-gasm when I showed him the Star Wars toys. We found a Biggs Darklighter action figure. It was awesome! Graham got Biggs, IG-88, and a titanium die-cast Slave 1. I got a LEGO V-Wing. The movie was epic as hell! Words can not describe it. You must see it for your self. After the movie we headed home. I dropped Graham off at his Dad's, and proceeded to head home. As I was driving home, the Eagle's CD I was listening to began playing Hotel California, so I took the longer way home and blared the song at full bass down all the side streets. If I'm going to wake people up with music, it might as well be good music.

Tomorrow is going to be great! I'm picking up Kirsten and Chelsi, and we're trucking it to Kent State to go visit Alex. Unfortunately, I have to be home by 2000, so I can't get as much out of the day as I would like. Nevertheless, I can't wait for tomorrow!

Goin to Hollywood to ride roller coasters cause Shelly left her stuff in the bumper of my car!
03:19pm 13/08/2007

The other day I found this scratch off ticket-thing from Eat N' Park. When I scratched it off I had won a free movie rental from Hollywood Video. I decided that since I had nothing better to do today, I'd go rent a movie. I got to the video store and started looking for Boondock Saints. Unable to find it I grabbed Reservoir Dogs and headed to the front. The Hollywood card I have is old, but the manager knows me so I can still rent with it even though it's got a different number than what's on the account. Well, unfortunately for me, she wasn't working today, and unknown to me, mom had the new card changed so that only she could rent movies. The manager never said a thing, and she always let me rent. The girl that was working today wasn't as nice. Now I have to go back with my mom so she can change the card so I can rent movies when the manager isn't working. Oh well... The free movie thing is good until the end of September, so I have time.

Later on today I have to run up Shelly's house because she left her work shirt and bag in my car. A couple of days ago I went up to Theresa's to watch movies with her, AJ, Dom, and two others whose names I can't remember that I just met that night. On the way back to Tree's house, we watched the movies at AJ's, we saw Shelly walking back from work. We stopped and picked her up. I dropped the two of them off and headed home. The next day I get a call from Shelly saying that she left some things in the back of my car, and she was wondering if I could bring them back to her house. I was free today, but mom has to take Mark to the bus station, go to the Bank, and stop at Sears, so I have to wait until she gets back before I can go up Shelly's.

Tomorrow is our Cedar Point trip. We're leaving at 0730, so I have to be up at 0630 to get ready and pick everyone up since we're taking my car. (Why wouldn't you take a convertible on a road trip?) Luckily for me, Graham has volunteered to drive in the morning since I can't function that early.

Apparently, mom caught the front end of the car on something and pulled the front bumper loose. We re-attached it, and while doing so both mom and Mark noticed the front end. In an excellent turn of events (for me) I found out that apparently mom ALSO hit a pole in pretty much the same exact spot, so she thinks she caused that damage. I get off unscathed. Huzzah! No screaming pain-filled doom for me!

Well, I'm off to laze around the house. Oh, and a Happy Birthday to Lexi! I'd give you birthday spanks, but I think you'd enjoy them from Alex more. ^.^

10 Kinds of Epic!
03:42pm 20/07/2007

Nebay
Yesterday, a bunch of us went to see the new Transformers movie up at the Mills. It was Myself, Joe, and Addison in my car; Rieber and Adam Gaydas in Rieber's car; and Kirsten ([info]peachonherlips) and Barbie (Tim) in Barbie's car. On the way we picked up Theresa, so my car gained a fourth. We got to the mall, found the theater, and bought out tickets. When we got to the theater there was no one there. We had the place to ourselves! Or we did until 3 others came in, but that didn't matter because we outnumbered them by almost 3 to 1. If you count Addison and Joe as 1.5 people each than we win. The movie was 10 kinds of epic all rolled into one giant nerd-gasm! I especially loved how the two most hard-ass characters were paired up in the end: the army guy with the baby and Ironhide. *spoiler warning* My only real complaint was with the fact that Jazz was killed. Jazz was awesome. *end spoiler warning* (not much of a spoiler, but I don't want to get bitched at) After that, we ate Chinese at the food court and did a little shopping. Kirsten bought Twilight Princess for the Lame Cube, Theresa bought a little purple plaid mini-skirt and a birthday present for Shelly, and I bought a Triforce pin and a birthday present for Shelly. Rieber and Adam Gaydas left arounf 1745 to head home, and we waited until 1830 when rush hour was over. Right before we left I bought a Lewis Black CD. I love Lewis Black. We trucked it to AJ's (Theresa's BF) to drop off Theresa then headed home.

Today was pretty boring. Nothing to report, but tomorrow, however, is Shelly's birthday party. That's gonna be a blast! Anywho, this little bird has to go mow the lawn, so I'll talk to y'all at a later date and/or time. Peace!

Let's hope the rule of 3 applies

Well, yesterday was a mixed bag of events. DnD, which was supposed to be at 1330 at Grahams house, was postponed because Addison found out that there were open interviews at Eat'n Park, and he was going to spend the day practicing for the interviews. Surprisingly, Addison gave us the OK to use his characters without him, so we could still hold DnD without him. That usually doesn't happen. We still convened at Graham's house at 1330, but instead of DnD, Joe and I played DDR. After that, we went to cool off in Graham's pool. Feeling that it was too cold, Graham (Who had been in Cancun all last week, and was used to warmer water) opened up his hot tub and we all just kinda chilled in there. Afterwards, we began making up characters for both my and Joe's campaigns. (Mine was left over from AC, and Joe's was just something he thought of in the shower this morning.) They would both be gestalt  campaigns since there were only 2 PCs. I ran my one-shot that I didn't run at AC, but before the "final battle" we had to leave.  We were going to see the new Harry Potter movie at  2010 in Bridgeville, but before that we had to stop at Graham's dad's house to pick up some movies to be dropped off at Hollywood, and I had to stop home for money and my air mattress. After all of those stops, we arrived at the movies with 15 minutes to spare. The movie was epic! I'm still a bit tired, so I won't write up anything more about it, but more could quite possibly be forthcoming. On the way home, we stopped at Giant Eagle for some chicken and General Tso's sauce. (Also, I had to pee like a racehorse) Everything was fine until we got to Graham's street. In the daytime, I sometimes miss his street. This was 2315 and pretty damn dark. As we were about to pass the street, I realized this and made a quick, sharp, right turn. I was hoping to catch the end of the street, and mabye just be in this dude's lawn for a minute. Nothing as simple. I hit the stop sign at the top of the road, knocking it down, and putting quite the dent in the bottom of the front of the car. Like any sane person, I backed up, and GOT THE FUCK OUT OF THERE! we got back to Graham's house and inspected the damage. I'm not sure how to explain it to mom without her murdering me, but I'll think of a way. We got back, watched Army of Darkness since Joe had never seen it, (He's so deprived) and went to sleep around 100.

I'm a believer in the law of three. It states that anything you do, bad or good, will come back to you three-fold, and that all major things come in threes. I hope that's the case because then I will be less likely to be in another accident. Granted, this was the first one I caused, or was even the driver for, but I've been in the car during one minor, (this one) one moderate, (when someone rear-ended us on vacation and totaled our car) and one major one. (when my mom was making a left turn, and someone hit my side of the car. The car was totaled and mom broke her arm)

A good today, hopefully a better tomorrow

Good evening y'all. (It's evening somewhere) I'm feeling better, but I'm still congested. Oh well, that's what Kleenex are for.Since Joe is back from Florida, DnD is being held today. Last session Addison lost his character sheets, so he made a quick and dirty swashbuckler. During our little break, after Add exhausted all possible locations for his sheets,he had Joe roll him up 2 new characters. They're the same classes, but they have way better stats. We're pretty sure Joe fudged his rolls, but who cares. It only helps us more. Today, we're re-doing all of the battles from the previous session since our party is back together. (The swashbuckler never existed) Also, today will set the date for all of us to go see the new Transformers movie. Essentially, whenever Joe is free we're going to go. Depending on everyone, we may have somewhere from 2 - 10+ people.Hooray for convoys!

Post Con Report
11:11pm 14/07/2007

Nebay
Here's my post-AC report. This is what went down after AC. One day when I'm not so lazy I'll post a real con report, but that day is not today. Lets begin with Sunday afternoon:

I called my mom to pick me up at the Westin since I didn't have a car, and Stang dropped his off at home. At first, it was cool. She'd pick me up around 1830 or so. Later I got a call saying that she wasn't sure how to get there, (despite the fact that she dropped me off there on Thursday) and that I had to take a cab home. I really didn't want to pay for a ride home, (or have my mom pay, for that matter) so I called Nick up and asked if he could come pick me up. To add some incentive I offered to pay for gas. around 1730 Nick and Nana arrived, and we headed out to Nana's bro's house to pick some stuff up. He was moving and Nana had stuff stored there, so she had to move it or lose it. We finally got back to Nick's mom's house and just kinda chilled until we fell asleep.

Monday we just kinda walked around New Castle. I bought Eddie Izzard's Circle DVD, and we watched various DVDs all day. We started off watching Uncle Kage's Story Hour from 2006, then we moved to Spazfox's DVD Ow. Unfortunately, it's all screwed up, and it gets choppy in parts, so we couldn't finish it. After that we Watched 2's new DVD, and as Nick was messing with his new airsoft gun, I watched Eddie Izzard. When Nate came back we hooked up the PS2 and played DDR SuperNova. Normally, if it's not Extreme 2, it sucks, but SuperNova is pretty damn good. I'm actually better on that then Ex2. I got more AA Stars on it and could do more on Standard then I can in Ex2. Nate, Katie, (their, sister) and I played all night. Sometime that night [info]voco_letum called, and asked if I was home. I told him I was in New Castle, and he offered to pick Nick and I up the next day. Huzzah! After more DDR we slept.

Tuesday morning was more DDR. Eventually, Voco (along with Kyle and Blue) came to pick us up. After much trucking we arrived at the Robinson mall because Blue needed a new vest. Blue didn't find a vest, but Nick got some airsoft ammo and I got RE4 for the Wii. We dropped Blue off at the airport, and headed back to my house for some Halo 2. Since we had 4 people and only 3 controllers, we decided to go back to the mall and get a fourth controller for my 360. We got that and a pizza then headed back home. After much gaming and some pizza, Voco and Kyle went home, and Nick and I chilled until we went to sleep.

For some reason I can't remember what happened Wednesday.

Thursday, I played video games and Nick shot shit with his airsoft gun until Addison came and picked us up. Apparently, we were going to help out with his church's Vacation Bible School. *shudder* Nick was fairly well accepted since he had some kind of Jesus shirt on. I, on the other hand, had on cammo shorts, sunglasses, (my regular glasses were at my gram's house and the sunglasses are Rx) a Trigun t-shirt which was essentially a guy holding a huge fucking revolver, and a scruffy beard. The supervisor was, to say the least, a little worried about me around little kids. What confuses me is that I hate little kids, but they love me and I'm really good with them. Anywho we did that then headed back to my house for some Gears of War and sleep.

Friday, I was going to take Nick up to Wexford so he can hang out with some kid he was friends with before me. [(totally not jealous) lol] I told him I'd drive him up either before or after rush hour. As we were about to leave Nick gets a call saying friend's mom isn't home so can he come later. Later was rush hour, so I said he'd have to wait until 1830 or so before I'd leave again. That was apparently not good for the friend so it was pushed back to Sunday. Since we were already in the car we headed off to the mall and Barnes & Noble. We dicked around, I got Half-Life 2, Addison got Pokemon Blue for the Game Boy, and we went home to game and order pizza. After pizza and gaming we went back to VBS and finished off the night. I was dropped off at home and Nick went with Addison to his (Addison's) mom's house.

No movies for me, but mabye a job
02:34pm 23/06/2007

Nebay
Well today has been...disappointing. I was supposed to go with Stang (Alex) and a bunch of others to the movies to see Hot Fuzz. He managed to find a theater that's still showing it up in Clearview. I've already seen the movie, (It's awesome by the way) but I really wanted to see it again, especially with everyone. Well, he never told me what time to meat him or where, so I'm assuming that either the movie is off, he doesn't want me to go, or he just forgot. I've tried to get in touch with him via AIM and he hasn't responded. Oh well...

In job related news, I've got an interview lined up for Wednesday at 4pm. Wednesday is going to be...well, let's say that I'm not looking forward to it a whole lot. I have to clean my gram's house, take my driver's test, and go to a job interview. As much as I want a job and my license; I don't want to deal with all the pressure that comes along with attaining them. I know, it'll be fine and I'm over reacting, but while my mind knows that it isn't telling the rest of my body. I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it. Ugg...

Speaking of jobs, I was worried that if I do get this job that I might not be able to get time off for AC. Well, now I'm not quite as worried because Steve (the manager at Rite Aid) said that this job isn't really important. It doesn't need to be filled right away, so maybe he'll let me start on the 9th, when AC has ended. Either that or he'll give me time off. That is if I'm scheduled to work those days and if I even get the job. Well, like most things, well find out when the time comes. No use worrying about it now. (I wish I could tell myself that about the interview and test)

As of this moment there are only 12 days until AnthroCon! I have to get everything ready.

Yesterday. Yesterday was uneventful. Nothing happened. Something was going to happen, but it didn't. I was going to go see DoA: Dead or Alive with Rieber, but he never called me back. That was pretty much it.

In more important news; I'm going to Kennywood today with Kirsten!! ([info]peachonherlips) Huzzah Horrah! It's going to rock out loud to the 15th power!

The Weekend
10:49pm 29/05/2007

Nebay
This weekend was great! I can't remember Friday, so I'll begin with Saturday.

Saturday, Nick managed to get his mom to drive him down from New Ken which was surprising. She usually wants to meet in Wexford, but I couldn't because of all the driving I did last weekend. Anyway, Nick got driven down and we hung out for a while then [info]voco_letum came down and we played SSBM. He's pretty good, but not as good as me. heh I'm just kidding. Him and nick are both better than me. So, as Voco was coming we were planing on going to see PotC3. We found the times and He, Nick, and I went to see the 10:00pm showing. The movie was real good. I didn't think I'd get what was going on since I still haven't seen the first or second ones yet, but I followed it pretty well. I loved all the Jacks in Davy Jones' Locker. They were great! We got back around 1:30am and just watched Mythbusters until we fell asleep.

Sunday came and it was the day of Stang's Halo Party. We were told to arrive at 2:00pm. We got there around 2:05 or so, and his mom said he went out to lunch. We killed time by playing frisbee in his back yard with a demo CD for some on-line PS2 game. After about 10mins my girlfriend Kirsten got there and she joined out 3-way frisbee game. Horay for 4-ways! After a while Stang got home and the party began. It was supposed to be an Airsoft party so Stang brought out his gun and was showing it to us. We went out back since he had some really old bottles of Diet Mountain Dew so we shook them up and shot them. Unfortunately, we didn't have a gun strong enough to puncture the bottles so we just smashed them with bricks. It was fun! We then started to just battle out in Stang's yard and I grabbed Nick and used him as a meat-shield. He's pretty effective. After all that chaos we ate pizza and chilled out on the porch. Kirsten brought out her old, broken PS2 and we smashed that up real good. I like destroying things. We went back inside, shot each other some more, and played Halo. By that time here were quite a few people there: Stand, his girlfriend who's name escapes me, Me, Nick, Voco, Kirsten, Dom, Kiba, and Ryan. At 10:00pm, Kirsten had to leave and around 1:00 Stang's girl friend left. Ryan left short after. The night wound down as Kiba Played WoW, Nick, Dom, and I played the Halo 3 Beta, and Alex and Voco Slept.

Monday rolls around, and we play more Halo until my mom picks us up at 1:00pm. We head home, Nick's mom picks him up, and Voco and I watch That 70's Show. He's got a flat so we go to use Fix-a-Flat but the nozzle cracks and it sprays everywhere, except for in the tire. Since the tire still has a hole we have to change it. We had everything but the jack, which was stuck in Voco's trunk. We couldn't get it out. So, I went into my trunk and got out that jack. I learned how to change a tire! We got the tire changed, but it only had 15psi in it so we had to get air for it. We went down to the BP and their air pump was broken. Not daunted from our task, we trucked it down to the Exxon down the way. We get there and, of course, their pump is broken as well. We drive up the road and pull into the Get Go where, unlike the BP, their air costs money. I went and got change, we filled up the tire and, since we were there, got gas as well. After that, at my suggestion, we stopped at Rita's for some ice cream. We sat and discussed science, anthros, and the like while we ate. Home again, we plopped in front of the TV to watch a special on the History Channel on the inspiration and pilosophical...dealies...of Star Wars. It was pretty good, what I saw of it. I kept falling asleep. It was close to 11:00pm after all, and I didn't get much sleep at Stang's. It ended and we started to watch a special on the technology of Star Wars and how close we were to attaining it. After a little bit Voco left and I sacked out. It was a great weekend!
