It's times like these that make me wonder what in the gods names' is wrong with Josh and I. We just spent a good 15 minutes or so trying to lift birds off of the ground. You may be wondering, "What the hell am I talking about?" Well, allow me to elaborate for y'all. We were heading to bed, and neither of us wanted to turn off the light. We raced into out beds thinking that the last one up had to get back down and make the room dark. We made it up at about the same time and neither one of us would go back down, so Josh suggested I grab the broom from off of the top of my closet and use it to flip the switch. Somehow the broom ended up on the floor, and I grabbed the Swiffer in order to try to raise the broom back up. I couldn't, so I just used the Swiffer to turn off the light. After the light was off I noticed Josh's laptop was open and shining right at me, so I asked him to get down and close it. He refused, so I assaulted him with the Swiffer until he snatched it away from me. He then proceded to knock off my birds from their perches on my bedposts. After some fidgeting he managed to close his laptop with the Swiffer, and he then proceded to try to pick up the birds to give them back. We tried for quite some time to lift the birds using the Swiffer. We used the broom, his boots, and the other bird for support and/or leverage to get them back up to me. He also tried to fling them up, but all that accomplished was to get my blue jay fired at our door. After I tried a few times we decided to give up. It was then that Josh had to go to the bathroom, so he got down and left. While he was gone I figured I'd tell y'all about this little bit of randomness. I picked up the birds and the broom and put them all back where they belong. I have class tomorrow morning, so I'm going back to the nest for some sleep. G'night, and I'll see y'all eventually.

I was eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich just now, and I got to thinking. The slogan for Smuckers is, "With a name like Smuckers, it has to be good." What does the name Smuckers have to do with good? I can understand now how it can work because it's an established brand name, but what about when they first started out? I could see the slogan making sense if the brand name was something like The Most Amazing Thing You Will Ever Put Into Your Face. It's a bit wordy, but it conveys its meaning pretty clearly. If a product had a name like that than they must be good. Either that, or they're the most arrogant sons of bitches to sell jelly.
